I spoke before Scottsdale City Council last night in support of keeping critical long-term water infrastructure projects like Bartlett Dam and the Alternative Water Purification System in the CIP budget. Serious leaders plan for the next generation, not just the next news cycle. Unfortunately, Councilmember Graham and the chaos cohort are once again fighting commonsense governance by trying to shift these projects into the operating budget where they can be deprioritized.

Barry Graham ran on a promise of transparency and assured voters he would always listen to them. Yet he's jamming an unnecessary, $20 million parking garage down our throats. He's opposed a study and won't allow public comment. That doesn't sound like transparency or listening to me.
