SCOTTSDALE - Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky's chief of staff has been fired over multiple allegations of inappropriate behavior. Scottsdale city council candidate, Raoul Zubia, issued the following statement:
“Yet again, we’re seeing more drama out of city hall when our community needs results. These allegations are serious and underscore the importance of professionalism and accountability in public service. Scottsdale residents are tired of distractions. We have so many pressing issues that need to be addressed: water, responsible development, and supporting first responders. We need our local leaders to get back to doing the work that matters: serving residents, strengthening our economy, and restoring trust in government. It is time for a return to competent leadership."
