SCOTTSDALE — Today Mario E. Diaz formally endorsed Raoul Zubia for Scottsdale City Council, citing the need for "grown-ups" to return to the council.
Mr. Diaz stated:
“As a twenty-year resident of Scottsdale, Arizona, I’ve been proud of my local government; I’ve been ashamed of my local government; and I’ve been embarrassed of my local government. I’m in the embarrassed phase today. This is why I implore Scottsdale residents to vote for Raoul Zubia for the city council. As a twenty-year resident, I believe we need to elect grown-ups to take care of our great city. We cannot let the clown show at our local government continue."
Raoul Zubia was grateful for the endorsement, saying:
"Thank you, Mario Diaz, for this powerful endorsement. It truly means a lot to me, and I'm grateful to have your support."
