WHAT IS “SINGLE SHOT” VOTING?

In November's Scottsdale City Council election, you are allowed to vote for up to two candidates, but you are not required to use both votes. "Single-shot" voting simply means casting your vote for ONLY one candidate: Raoul Zubia. By voting only for Raoul and leaving the second choice blank, you avoid giving a vote to the extremist candidates who are competing against Raoul for one of the two available seats. This concentrates your support on the candidate you most want to elect: Raoul Zubia.
